Life cycle services for an optimum operation

  • Up-to-date material handling system matching current and future operational requirements
  • Reduce risks by migration of hardware and software to the latest standard
  • Optimise performance and reduce downtime risk through clear life cycle planning
  • Reduce TCO

You want your automated material handling system to operate optimally. However, your system requirements can change over time. In terms of performance, reliability, maintainability, safety or sustainability. Vanderlande Industries’ life cycle services are based on a life cycle plan. This covers upgrades and migrations for your present and future operational needs and helps you to reduce your Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Vanderlande offers following life cycle services:

• Revision

System overhaul without changing functionality, to restore performance, availability and reliability and reduce noise. It includes mechanical components, controls and relevant computer processes.

• Modification

To meet changed operational requirements. Advise on the relevant system modification measures, which can include changes in the system layout, and changes in processes at both system and controls level.

• Retrofit

To maintain system availability and ensure continued spare parts availability. Integration of new product generations (hardware and software) enables improvements in areas such as system availability, maintenance costs and energy efficiency.

• Replacement of ‘end of life’ OEM components

OEM hardware and software components can become ‘end of life’ or ‘end of support’. Vanderlande ensures that these are replaced timely to maintain the serviceability and availability of your automated material handling system. An additional advantage is that this often results in an improvement of system performance, energy efficiency or noise levels, etc.
